Psoriasis – The best treatment through Ayurveda

Psoriasis is not a chronic infectious disorder, which affects skin and joints, characterized by flaking, redness and inflammation of the skin. Once considered a skin disease, psoriasis is now perceived as an original condition of the immune system.

The scaly patches caused by psoriasis, called psoriatic plaques, are areas of inflammation and skin production too high. Skin grows quickly to these sites and takes a silvery white. Plaques frequently occur on the skin of the elbows and knees but can affect any area including the scalp and genitals. Unlike eczema, Psoriasis is more likely to be in the extensor aspect of the joint.

The disorder is a chronic, relapsing disease which varies in severity from small localized areas to cover the complete body. The nails are frequently affected (psoriatic nail dystrophy) – and can be regarded as an isolated result. Psoriasis can also cause inflammation of the joints, known as psoriatic arthritis. Ten fifteen percent of people with psoriasis suffer from psoriatic arthritis.

The cause of psoriasis begins with the immune system. T cells, a type of white blood cells, usually to protect the body against infection and disease by attacking bacteria and viruses. However, when you have psoriasis, T cells attack the cells of Your Skin instead. Your Body produces other immune system responses, resulting in inflammation and production rapid skin cells. Psoriasis often occurs in families and usually appears between the ages of 10 and 45.

Psoriasis is a disease hereditary. However, there are certain triggers such as skin sores, vaccines and medicines that have been responsible for developing this condition. It usually takes about a month for new cells to move from the lower layers of the skin surface. In psoriasis, This process takes only a few days, resulting in an accumulation of dead cells of skin and the formation of thick scales.

Psoriasis occurs most often in Dry Skin or oily skin hydrated.   • Erythrodermic Psoriasis is a widespread inflammation and exfoliation of the skin that covers most of body surface. This may be accompanied by itching intense inflammation and pain. It is often the result of an exacerbation of unstable plaque psoriasis, particularly following the abrupt withdrawal of treatment systemic. This form of psoriasis can be fatal, as the extreme inflammation and exfoliation disrupt the body's ability to regulate temperature and skin to perform barrier functions.
